Chris Pataky is an Investment Advisor and Regional Business Development Manager with Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). Chris has over ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining CIA, he worked for Charles Schwab & Co. in New York City and for Merrill Lynch in Denver. In each firm, Chris worked extensively with several divisions of the firm including Private Wealth Management, Private Equity, Business Succession Planning, and Trust and Estate Planning.
Chris is focused on understanding what matters most to his clients. Once fully garnering an understanding of his clients specific situation, he then helps to craft a financial strategy which reflects the client’s investment personality. He adjusts his clients’ unique wealth management strategies when necessary over time.
Chris graduated from Kent State University in Ohio with a bachelor’s in business administration through Finance. During his time there, he was also a member of the football team and still enjoys watching every Golden Flash football game when he can.
Chris lives in Denver with his wife, Meghan, their two children, Vivienne and Ben, and their two English bulldogs Russell and Buster. He enjoys golfing, skiing, hiking and watching the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers. Chris is also a board member of the Parkinson’s Association of the Rockies.
