Patrick Malloy is a Senior Investment Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™; for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). He has been in the financial services profession for more than 15 years.
Having spent a decade in the annuity industry, Pat is a good resource for clients who seek to understand many of the complicated features and benefits of different annuities. Whether you already own an annuity, or have been approached by an annuity salesperson, Pat provides candid responses when it comes to the misguided industry message on how annuities should be viewed, sold and owned.
Prior to joining Capital Investment Advisors, Pat worked as President for Perimeter Planning, LLC and as Regional Vice President for AXA Equitable. He is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association of Georgia and works as an adjunct professor for Oglethorpe University where he teaches students aspiring to obtain the CFP® designation in the Financial Planner Program.
Pat received his B.A. degree in Economics from Fordham University in New York and completed the Financial Planner Program at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. While attending Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he also achieved All-American baseball honors.
Pat currently resides in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters. During his free time, Pat enjoys reading, sports and spending time with his family.
