Matt Reiner is a Managing Partner for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). Prior to joining CIA in 2009, he worked with Bank of America in Boston and also with Charles Schwab in Phoenix.
As a Senior Investment Advisor, Matt seeks to help clients reach their investment goals pre-retirement and in retirement. Through a mix of income- and growth-oriented investments, he sets up each individual with a unique portfolio for their particular situation. Matt is also an active participant on the investment committee. In addition to this, Matt also acts as the CEO of CIA’s sister company, Wela, where he manages the day-to-day operations and the overarching strategy for growth.
Matt graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, with a BBA in Finance. Matt is also a CFA® Charterholder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Although Matt is devoted to his alma mater, he still finds himself supporting his long-beloved Georgia Bulldogs. When not cheering on the dawgs, he’s spending time with his wife, Hillary, son, Levi, and daughter, Rory. He also enjoys playing golf, coaching little league baseball and staying current with the Braves. Matt is the brother of Mitch Reiner and the son of Mike Reiner.
